Janice Persico: Fighting for Monroe Families
Janice Persico has proudly called Monroe home since 2012. Together with her husband, Dr. Justin Persico, she chose Monroe for its excellent schools and small-town spirit, where they are raising their three children.
Janice earned a B.A. in Psychology and is a former preschool director and current Town Council member. She knows what it takes to listen, lead, and deliver results. When two of her children were diagnosed with autism, she became a tireless advocate for families, inclusion, and stronger community connections.
Whether serving as secretary of the Monroe Parents Council, teaching local history at the East Village Schoolhouse, or helping lead Monroe Pride, Janice brings energy, heart, and action to every endeavor. She knows that true leadership is about activism, communication, and community—and she’s ready to keep fighting for Monroe’s future.
